BEARCAT provides soundtrack for Chromat’s 10th anniversary show at New York Fashion Week
Rico Nasty also came through with an explosive performance during the show’s finale.
BEARCAT provided the perfect soundtrack for Chromat’s triumphant 10th anniversary show over the weekend (September 7), making her return to the fashion label after contributing music to their fall runway show back in 2016.
Consisting mostly of her own edits (a blend of LSDXOXO’s ‘Women Eat Their Men’ and doon kanda’s ‘Axolotl’ is particularly inspired), the mix moves from high-energy house and steamy hip-hop to darker and more industrial sounds over the course of 24 thrilling minutes.
The show’s finale saw Rico Nasty bringing an explosive performance of ‘Poppin’’, check out clips below.
Chromat has a history of accompanying their shows impeccable soundtracks, tapping Mobilegirl for its Saturation show last year and enlisting Riobamba for its Climatic show back in February. Listen to both those soundtracks, as well as BEARCAT’s 2016 contribution, below.
