The magazine is available to buy now, and coincides with the opening of Fact and 180 Studios’ new group show, LUX.
Fact is pleased to announce the Fall/Winter 2021 issue of its relaunched print magazine. The issue spans five covers featuring London’s CURL collective, French-Senegalese artist anaiis, director and photographer Gabriel Moses, experimental club producer object blue and a’strict’s multi-sensory installation Starry Night, currently on display at LUX: New Wave of Contemporary Art, a new immersive art exhibition co-curated by Fact at London’s 180 Studios.
The 200-page publication includes exclusive features with multi-hyphenate artist Es Devlin, as interviewed by Hans Ulrich Obrist, audiovisual duo Nonotak, dancer and choreographer Holly Blakey and electronic visionary Carsten Nicolai, as well as pieces on Romain Gavras, Italy’s Nextones Festival and Brazil’s new generation of underground musicians.
Fact’s Fall/Winter 2021 edition follows the recent relaunch of Fact magazine as a bi-annual print publication, celebrating a new wave of artists, performers and producers operating at the convergence of electronic music and audiovisual art. The issue also includes a special 32-page feature on LUX, featuring artists including Refik Anadol, Hito Steyerl, Cecilia Bengolea, Julianknxx and Universal Everything.
Featuring 13 large-scale installations, LUX brings together 12 of the world’s most celebrated new media artists and collectives working with the latest audio-visual technologies to expand the boundaries of interactive and immersive art and blur the lines between the physical and virtual worlds.
The magazine launches on October 15, 2021 and will be distributed internationally by WhiteCirc. It can be bought direct from The Vinyl Factory’s online shop, from Boutique Mags or from selected stockists.
